The preservation of marine and coastal ecosystems is crucial for the health of the planet and the sustainability of the communities that depend on these resources.Therefore, our work focuses on promoting talent and creating training opportunities for young researchers, so that they can contribute to the search for solutions for marine ecosystems and coastal areas in the face of climate change.

"Catedra del Mar" Alliance with the University of the Balearic Islands for Marine Research


Cátedra del Mar Iberostar, is the result of a collaboration started in 2018 between the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and Iberostar Foundation which supports students and young scientists on research, conservation and management of the marine environment. Supporting research projects on Bachelor's, Master´s, and Doctorates, its aim is to promote research in the field of marine ecology, foster the creation of new research groups, train specialized research personnel and promote the transfer of knowledge.
